2009: London, Greenhouse Site
Masterplan for 71 houses on a brownfield site in North-west London. The massing concentrates the development around the perimeter of the site so that a central ‘square’ and playground can be created at the heart of the community. Houses are orientated either east/west or north/south and are positioned to provide a clear streetscape, maximising surveillance and access. Pedestrian and vehicle routes have been combined within a landscaped setting to encourage reduced vehicle speeds and increase the green footprint of the site. Next Project Previous Project |
