This proposal provides fourteen family houses on a disused backland suburban edge site.  There is a mix of 3bed and 4bed units each with its own garden and parking, plus communal amenity space.  The houses are designed to reach Level 4/5 of the Code for Sustainable Homes. Simple white cubes with sedum turf roofs and photovoltaic panels offer a contemporary interpretation of the cottage. The impact of cars is minimized. The scheme will feel green and leafy.
