A wedge shaped plan shelters the flats from a noisy adjoining railway line and orientates principle rooms towards the sun. A super-insulated building envelope and a renewable energy strategy based on bio-fuel combined heat and power (CHP). The podium building contains shops, offices, restaurant and roof garden. Residents’ sky gardens and a sky lounge complete the social amenities.
