The brief provided for a mixed tenure high density development of at least 300 dwellings in a range of sizes along with improved commercial and community facilities: health centre, community centre, nursery, office and retail.

Our design proposal ‘Genesis II’ sought to regenerate the estate creating a new social heart. New residential ‘seeds’ are planted in the existing courtyard gardens to grow into a lively street frontage on to the adjacent main road.
